AE 482/897G Reflection
Working on this thesis report over the past two semesters has provided me with knowledge and experience that will be helpful during the start of my professional career. I have become familiar with the processes of designing a mechanical system and now have a better idea of potential issues I may encounter and ways to solve them. The most valuable skill learned over the past year is to take a design problem I don't know how to tackle and figure out a solution through research and professional interaction. Professional discussions with engineers in the industry can be an invaluable skill throughout my entire career and this project has given me an introduction to this. This project gave me clear insight into my inadequacies with time management and the information learned over the past five years that I may need to reinforce.
The information gathered from the MAE courses was incredibly useful during the process of this report. Most of the systems and processes used were gleaned from the class lectures and notes and without an introduction to the different mechanical systems and equipment available, I would have had a very basic report.

CPEP Reflection
The use of the CPEP website was a major convenience over the past year. It was a perfect tool to organize all of my thesis material and it allowed for easy submissions and access of materials from any location. The greatest benefit of the CPEP site for me was asking professionals a question and being able to refer them to my website for reference materials rather than having to email them several attachments. Also the ability to access student sites from previous years was incredibly useful as a reference.
Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Alexander Quercetti. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
